The warning given by the author with the pseudonym Canyouguess67 published “ANØM EXPOSED” on his blog on March 29th of this year, should have panicked criminals worldwide. “Keep your hands off Anøm telephones if you value security and privacy. The devices are hacked, your data flows to the US and ends up with law enforcement agencies. ”

But the alarm call to the scene apparently went unheard. Until recently, criminals from more than 300 criminal organizations in a good 100 countries around the world used the Anøm smartphones, which are considered bug-proof in the scene, for communication. As of today it is clear: The FBI, the American Federal Police, was behind the developer of the Anøm mobile phones, who has been active since 2019. Together with the Australian Federal Police, the investigators had initially set up Anøm as a front company and then operated it clandestinely.
