Solarwatt boss Neuhaus

Detlef Neuhaus, 54 years old, is the managing director of Solarwatt based in Dresden and employs 350 people. The company, founded in 1993, is the market leader in Europe for its glass-glass modules. The company is also one of the largest providers of electricity storage systems. Stefan Quandt has held the majority of the company since 2013.

Detlef Neuhaus: What is happening in the wind energy industry in Germany is a scandal. In times of dramatic pressure, where everyone can see what is in store for us in terms of climate change, we are virtually bringing wind energy to a standstill in Germany.
