The thing that Kai Stroeder would like to use to conquer the digital world is really not beautiful. Stroeder and his start-up Tooz Technologies are not interested in anything less. He wants to create what the digital corporation failed because of and what makes even greats like or to this day desperate: to bring data glasses onto the market so persistently that they can reliably interact with the smartphone, and so simply that the additional functions are hardly noticeable. The glasses that came out of it and that Stroeder has been selling as a developer version in Germany since the beginning of May are optically the purest cash register frame: black plastic frames, arms that are almost finger-wide. Boring, should say style critics – and those who actually understood Stroeder’s vision.
